Ingredients
- 3 ounces Brixeur Rye Whiskey finished in Pinot Noir Casks
- ½ ounce lemon Juice
- ½ ounce simple syrup (1:1)
- Topped with Trisaetum Ribbon Ridge Pinot Noir
- Optional egg white
Process
In a shaker tin, combine the rye whiskey, lemon juice, simple syrup and egg white (optional). Shake well, then add ice shaker and shake again until well chilled. Double strain into a rocks glass. Over the back of a bar spoon, gently float Pinot Noir.
Description
You've likely heard of a New York Sour, but at Brixeur Spirits, we're about as far away from New York as you can be here in the States. Therefore, we decided that a Ribbon Ridge Sour was much more fitting.
This is our take on the traditional drink, with our own Oregon touches.
